| Since the 1960’s, the lasting New Stories and constantly emerging New stories have been attracting the attention of scholars in domestic and abroad. Especially since the 80’s to now, with the "story" leading a group of story collections in their ups and downs, story scholars and folk literature scholars paid more and more attention to the development of a new story, which as the main body of inheritance, new storytellers also became a part of the research development of new stories. Based on the new developing trend of new stories, some areas are already tended to develop New storytellers who are invited to set up with new story speech activities, such as Chongqing has storytelling activities in small sizes, Hangzhou has taken hold of "hometown of stories" and so on. The "story" named the four best national storytellers, and edited their stories that presents the fact that new storytellers has been paid much attention.New story is a cultural type showing people’s lives under the new era. It embodies the wisdom of the new storytellers and also expresses people’s wishes. It is very significant for new storytellers to explore and study new story development. The paper uses Wu Wenchang as a case and his stories as the theme of the text to research the artistic features of the text structure and creative story mode, in order to its provides an overall theoretical reference for the later study of new story research.The whole paper is divided into five parts:The exordium includes the purpose and significance of the subject, the research review, research methods and related definitions. This is the background and research foundation for the whole paper. The first chapter presents Wu Wenchang’s road of New Story. There are many connections between Wu Wenchang’s life experience and the new development of new stories. According to the summarization of Wu Wenchang’roads of life or stories, the paper paves a way for the following analysis.The second chapter is Traditional ethics: Study on Wu Wenchang’s Folk Stories. Stories written by Wu Wenchang is divided into two parts which are folk stories and new stories. Through researches on story themes and artistic features, this chapter theoretically explains the general characteristics in his early creation. The third chapter is thinking the new times:Study on Wu Wenchang’s New Stories. Based on the second chapter, this chapter further expounds Wu Wenchang’s stories theoretically, and summarizes the overall trend and general characteristics of his new stories and come to a conclusion that Wu Wenchang is a new storyteller who has strong earthy traditions.The fourth chapter:Study on the creative principles and theory of Wu’s story works. This chapter uses traditional folk literature research theory of the scholars, and focuses on analyzing the principles of creation. To sum up his foundations to study of story theories and further get the conclusion that Wu Wenchang is an experienced storyteller. The fifth chapter:Verbal persistence and creation: new storyteller Wu Wenchang’s characteristic theory. To lift a theoretical height, this part analyzes the value dand signifcance Wu Wenchang has made for the development of the new creative business in his whole life. The conclusion offers Wu Wenchang his identity based on the former five chapters. |
