The economy of Hunan in the period of two dynasties was developed rapidly with its security of the society. At this time, it remained a lot of Han dynasty tombs and Burial objects artifacts.Hunan is part of the original place of Shu State. Surrounding to the Wuyue, Bashu areas, so the cultures of Shu, Yue and Bashu mixed here.In the composition of Burial objects artifacts, in the period of western Han, ceramic sacrificial vessels were the main types. In the period of eastern Han, the model Burial objects artifacts were the main types.While in the combination and pattern of Burial objects, there is great differences.As a funeral object, Burial objects not only reflected the life and thought of the society, but also the differences of the classes of the society. It supplies us the precious data of the two Hans in the society, economy and culture appearance.First, being clear about the concept of the Burial objects artifacts, then, according to the two Hans’burial system of line and the combination of the Burial objects artifacts, connecting with the various features of the artifacts, divided the periods of the two Hans’tombs, that is the earlier western Han, the later western Han, Xinman period and eastern Han. Finally, to introduce the concrete unearthed situations of the different classes tombs’s Burial objects artifacts.Second,to have a deep discussion about the combination and various patterns of Burial objects artifacts, from this, I find out the evolution rule in the two Han Dynasty’s Burial objects artifacts in the Hunan areas.Third, to analyze the features and origination reasons of the Burial objects artifacts in the Hunan areas, I compared the situations and features of the unearthed Burial objects artifacts in the surroundingareas. This paper applies the archaeology, history and philology and other theories and methods, especially the archaeological typology to have an analysis and study of the unearthed Burial objects artifacts of the period of the two Hans in the Hunan area. On that basis, to compared the unearthed Burial objects artifacts in the time and space. Finally I have a conclusion that the unearthed Burial objects artifacts in the two Hans of the Hunan area have their distinct regional features, obvious Shu culture and frequent interactions in the surrounding areas.
