This paper mainly analyzes the distribution of the burial objects in the coffins of qucun cemetery from the early Western Zhou Dynasty to the middle Spring and Autumn Period in different ages,categories and the gender and age of the tomb owners,and studies the different meanings and symbols of the positions of the burial objects in the coffins.The first chapter is the introduction.This paper describes the research history and present situation,research content,research purpose and methods.The main content of this paper is the collection of burial objects in the coffin of the tomb in Qucun cemetery.The main research methods include situational analysis,literature research and statistical methods.The second chapter is the analysis and research of the burial objects.The burials collected in the coffins of qucun cemetery can be mainly divided into bronze wares,pottery wares,tin wares,jade wares,stone wares,chain ornaments,bone,horn and tooth wares,mussel shell wares and tin wares,totaling nine categories and 108 kinds.Through the analysis of the relationship between the burial objects in the coffins and the burial age,type,the sex and age of the tomb owner,it is concluded that the burial objects in the coffins have certain differences in the tombs of different ages,types,gender and ages.The most typical arrowheads are found only in male tombs and spinning wheels only in female tombs.The third chapter is the study of the position of the burial objects.By combining the document record with the position of burial utensils placed in coffins in Qucun cemetery,this paper studies the different functions and meanings of different positions of utensils placed in coffins.Bronze wares,jade wares,stone implements and chain ornaments have the characteristics of status and gender,while mussel shellfish wares are most widely distributed in the tombs of Qucun cemetery.Through analysis,it is found that the utensils placed on the head of the tomb owner have more symbolic meaning of ritual system,while the utensils placed in other places are more of an imitation of the real life of the society at that time,and some of them are the imitation of the ritual system of some senior nobles by the tombs with low rank or less wealth.The fourth chapter is the conclusion.This paper summarizes the relationship between the burial objects in the coffins of Qucun cemetery and different ages,categories,genders and ages,as well as the different meanings and differences of the burial objects placed in different positions in the coffins,and puts forward the shortcomings of this research.
