The Progressingly Increasing Multiple Attributes in Chinese is attributive precedes the center word(subject or object)to modify,restrict or describe it.For Chinese native speakers,it is a commonly used part of sentence.In teaching Chinese as a foreign language,there are two difficulties in the learning of the Progressingly Increasing Multiple Attributes: one is the order of the multiple attributive,another is the looming of the structural particle” ? ”.This article embarks from classify and analysis errors of Chinese learners whose mother tongue is English,and put forward teaching methods on the basis of a full study of the teaching requirements and teaching materials.The first chapter explains some of the origins of this research project,reviews the status quo of theoretical study,illustrates the research train of thoughts and methodology,and introduces the resources of the corpus of this study.Chapter two focuses on the classify of errors of the Progressingly Increasing Multiple Attributes.This chapter embarks from the collected errors,and divided learners' errors into nine classes,for example,dislocation of attributive and center word,errors in the orderings of multiple attributives,missing or false addition or the location error of “?”.Chapter three mainly analyzes the reasons of learners' errors.This chapter expounds from three aspects: first,the negative transfer of learners' mother tongue;Second,the complex nature of Chinese,embodied in the looming of the structural particle” ? ” as well as the order of the multiple attributive;Third,the problems existed in the compile Chinese teaching materials,embodied in the teaching material did not explain the order of multiple attributives,and lack relative practice.Chapter four mainly investigates the compile Chinese teaching materials about the Progressingly Increasing Multiple Attributes.According to its frequency,item number and order,we proposed an opinion that before intermediate stage should be the right time to interpret the Progressingly Increasing Multiple Attributes.Second,in the light of the difficulty of students and teaching materials characteristics,we putforward following three suggestions: give full consideration to learner's errors in preparing link;from single to multiple,explain difficulties by three stages;use game as a method to practice the order of multiple attributive.Finally,we designed a lesson plan for your reference.Chapter five is the conclusion,summarizes the main contents of this paper,the study proposed the existence of gaps,and for these deficiencies,the study follow-up to the prospect.
