As one of the content words, learning adjectives is especially important in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL).Based on the previous research,this article regards the textbook as the guiding principle,in order to analyze intermediate level of foreign students of the Acquisition of Chinese adjectives.Referring to take methods of two combined standard classification firstly, this article classified Nature adjective and State Adjective according to the semantics; divided into ordinary adjective and distinguishing word by the difference between the features of grammatical functions. Based on the theory of two aspects of the ontology——the adjective syntax features and the overlapping of adjective(grammatical functions and grammatical meaning),combined with modern Chinese Corpus from Center for Chinese Linguistics PKU and the adjective level distribution of "Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Grade Outline of Chinese Characters", 85 adjectives from Lower Intermediate Textbook of “The Road to Success” were analyzed. There are the analysis of syllable structure, grammar structural, the specific categories and the syntactic features from the textbook. The author discussed the causes of the errors through two ways of collecting types of errors of the 85 adjectives, one is "HSK dynamic composition Corpus" and another one is the questionnaire. Five teaching methods, using pictures or cards, adjective matching with the other words, adjective and its antonyms performance, synonymous morpheme migration and situational language teaching) are mentioned for the teaching strategies.Designs of the teaching plan are proposed in the final.
