The Research On Vocal Music Of Jimo-Liuqiang Opera From Shandong Province

As a local opera, Jimo-Liuqiang opera is grown in Jiaodong Peninsula.Once in the 1950 s, Jimo-Liuqiang opera had been showed in Sea Palaces for three times and received recognition and praise by state leaders and the masses. In 2008, Jimo-Liuqiang opera was included in the national “intangible cultural heritage” list. However, when collecting and arranging information, the writer discovers that there is little relational research about Jimo-Liuqiang opera,especially research of music.The writer conducted field surveys on Jimo-Liuqiang opera from 2013.Through the field surveys, the writer got a lot of first-hand information. Base on this, the writer sorted out and analyzed the information, and conducted writing of the paper. In this paper, the writer made a detailed presentation and morphological analysis for vocal music of Jimo-Liuqiang opera. Combined with the local culture, the writer also explained close relationship between the culture and vocal music in Jimo-Liuqiang opera.The full paper was divided into four chapters. In chapter one, the writer wrote an overview on Jimo-Liuqiang opera and explained how Jimo-Liuqiang opera evolved from a performance called “Zhouguzi”, till today’s appearance.Chapter two was related to the field surveys of Jimo-Liuqiang Troupe, for example, contacting with the troupe, holding live performances, Interviewing with famous artists, etc. The main content of chapter three was morphological analysis of vocal music in Jimo-Liuqiang opera. The writer made a detailed analysis for tunes and rhythms of vocal music in Jimo-Liuqiang opera. Then, combining the local dialect, the writer applied knowledge of phonetics to explore the law of the melodies. During chapter four,the writer wrote cultural Analysis to vocal music in Jimo-Liuqiang opera.Combining the local cultural characteristics, the writer made cultural interpretation for the melody of vocal music in Jimo-Liuqiang opera and the innovation of vocal.Writing this article can make up deficiency of the research of Jimo-Liuqiang opera in academia, beside this, it can also provide valuable information for the research of comparison in Chinese opera. Moreover, the writer use perspective of phonetics in music form analysis, it can also provides a new idea for researchers.
