Discuss The Concept And Methods Of Gu Kai Zhi “Yi Xing Xie Shen”

Gu kaizhi is the famous painter in jin dynasty, his painting thought has pioneer significance in ancient China.His theory like “chuan shen xie zhao”、“yi xing xie shen” is very important to ancient Chinese appearance-verve theory development. His theory is worthy of all previous dynasties literati and scholars to study and explore.This article embarks from the Gu kaizhi painting with existing theory book, summary and application of Gu kaizhi "yi xing xie shen" this thesis put forward the concept and method, it discusses the theory and method of the significance and enlightenment of future generations. The first part of the article introduces Gu kaizhi theory and art. In this chapter firstly introduces Gu kaizhi’s life, thoughts and creation.let us know Gu kaizhi’s character creation and life, let us understand the theory of painting is closely related to his life and experience, his life and art theory provides the experience for its real source. Secondly this paper introduces the historical origin and the era background of the painting. The second part of the article introduces Gu kaizhi’s painting thoughts’ core concept- "yi xing xie shen",and specific introduction "xing" 、 "shen" in "yi xing xie shen" this theory express’ s meaning and the aesthetic connotation of " yi xing xie shen". The third part is the key part of the full text,specific interpretation of "yi xing xie shen" and the method,and then from the textual research and analysis of Gu kaizhi two angles, this paper focuses on how to form the spirit: how to write in the artistic creation from form to spirit. This paper argues that Gu kaizhi is able to use shape write spirit because he thinks "enlightenment of spirit" is the core of "yi xing xie shen", "move to better" is the key to "yi xing xie shen", Gu kaizhi also pay attention to environment and details, the pen and the method of bone, this is the concrete method of how to use shape write spirit. Then use the existing theory of painting and art of the Gu kaizhi prove his point, Gu kaizhi how to use their own "yi xing xie shen" applies in the painting.
