A Study On The Criticism Standard And Its Value

For a long time, the basis theory of music criticism course is hard to be generalized in a complete and systematic way. The standard of music criticism is more difficult to be expressed clearly. The issue about the standard of music criticism is very complex and is easily affected by object, which leads to many judging mistakes during the process of music criticism. Moreover, these issues are more important for Contemporary music. Contemporary music itself has a series of problem. It is even harder to form systematic criteria for its standards, which also makes contemporary music works good and bad mixed together.Against this background, this thesis intends to find a proper standard for music criticism by ana-lyzing Contemporary folk chamber music. It puts the angle of music criticism onto the interior of music works and reduces the influence objective elements would cause, and it also furthers the st-udy to the structure of Contemporary music. From the aspect of music sound,this study is different from general music analysis.It aims to seek a valuable path of finding the beauty of Contemporary music.There are four chapters discussing the standards and studying value of contemporary music.The first chapter mainly demonstrates the value judging in the standard of music criticism according to many existing problem of Contemporary music and the standard contained in music criticism. Chapter two seeks for theoretical basis for the criticizing standard of sound structure. Besides, Living soundscope experience is provided to explain how music sound arouses people’s sensual pleasure and judgment is made based on that. Chapter three analyzes how music criticism based on sound structure is used in practical music criticizing in Contemporary folk chamber music. Chapter four is the concluding part, which generalizes further the argument of this thesis and puts forward the standards of music criticism.
