Chinese increasingly popular in Thailand, more and more people learning Chinese. There are more and more researches related to the content of pronunciation, vocabulary, textbook, testing and other aspects on Chinese language teaching in Thailand. In recent years, experts and scholars paid more attention to the study of Chinese language teaching methods, there have been a lot of empirical research results on a particular pedagogy. However, no single teaching method is perfect, and we also can not just use one single method in the actual teaching process. The author found by referring to the literature, these empirical studies on Chinese elective mostly for primary and secondary school students, but too few for college students; majority for a particular teaching method, but minority for the complex study of two teaching methods. The author believes that has a relatively large study space on complex teaching methods of Chinese elective in university. And task-based approach and cooperative learning method has certain complementary, largely fit the characteristics of Thai university students, it is worth to try to use the task-based teaching method based on cooperative learning, the complex teaching method into Chinese elective in university in Thailand. The experimental results show that the task-based teaching method based on cooperative learning can stimulate students’ interest in learning, improve academic performance, help them better access to Chinese communicative competence.This paper is divided into six chapters, the first chapter is the introduction part, narrates the selected topic background, research contents, research methods, focusing on summarizing the task-based approach and cooperative learning method. The second chapter, the author expounds the connotation, the theoretical basis and the feasibility of task-based teaching method based on cooperative learning, the complex teaching method. The third chapter, the author makes the overall design for the teaching model based on the actual situation of Chanthaburi campus of Burapha University, and uses a teaching case presented specific teaching practice. The fourth chapter, the author sorts out the experimental data from the questionnaire, interview, grades, classroom observations, and carries out a detailed analysis. The fifth chapter, the author summarizes the teaching effect of this teaching mode, noting that the implementation process of the four issues that need attention. The sixth chapter, the author summarizes the full text and puts forward the deficiency of the article.
