There is always an important problem in the juvenile amateur piano teaching in China——Our teaching is generally attach importance to technical training on the piano, but not very well from the perspective of students aesthetics, imagination and creativity, allowing student to feel fully multi-toned music of beauty.In order to explore the effective ways to solve this problem, in Professor Gordon’s book:<A Music Learning Theory For Newborn and Young Children>, for our young children how to implement the piano improvisation in accompaniment in the teaching has carried on the preliminary practice of teaching.In this paper, the author uses a year and a half, teaching four-to-eight-year-old children impromptu accompaniment. The teaching is divided into two parts:the run-up and impromptu accompaniment phase. Run-up is to practice impromptu accompaniment and mainly to study the basic knowledge of music theory, harmony, rhythm, tempo, mode, melody interval, the harmonic interval, and chords as the main content; Impromptu accompaniment phase teachings mainly include the use of interval:triads, vice triads, three basic textures, cadences, and structure for the method of the missile accompaniment melody. This paper introduces in detail the author used games, pictures, images and other tools or methods for children to understand, and have achieved remarkable teaching results.This article also summarized the above obtained preliminary teaching practice teaching experience the author got.The combination of theory and practice, provides the music college students and educators the teaching methods and ways of preliminary infants improvisational piano accompaniment.
