Research The Chinese Name Of Thai Students

Name is a special symbols that can make each person different, it’s the first message we know from each other. Name is not only a symbols, but also contain lots of culture and national identity. The name of different cultural environments have different characteristics, These characteristics reflection the national identity themselves. Chinese name’s culture has a long history and rich content, is an important part of Chinese culture. With the continuous development of the Chinese, more and more students came to China to study Chinese, Having a Chinese name is common and popular to international students. International students have a Chinese name is a require of foreign language teaching management, it’s a chance to learn more Chinese culture as well. In order to research the characteristic of international student’s Chinese name, this paper select 251 Thai students Chinese name from Guangxi universities as the research object, to analyzed the cultural characteristics、voice characteristics of them generalize the characteristics from them, and make some suggestions for how to made a Chinese name and how to add the Chinese name’s culture into teaching.
