"Politeness" is one kind of speech that is indispensable. It is used in everyday life. Learning the language of a particular cultures politeness one will also learn tat particular culture. The Chinese language gotten so much more important in the past few years, so more and more people in the world are studying Chinese. Of course, Thailand is no exception. More Thai students choose to learn Chinese nowadays. However, for Thai students understanding Chinese culture is not easy. In my experience, Politeness in particular, contains culturally significant differences that Thai students will perceive as especially difficult.
