Chinese has a long history with complex language structure and grammar rules. With rapid development of the society, more and more foreigners begin to learn Chinese serving as communication tool. Textbooks of teaching Chinese as second language are regarded as a media for second language teaching stage by stage, which are based on outline.Comparative sentences, as the teaching focus of Chinese grammar teaching and required element of initial Chinese teaching, are related to many sentence structure and expressions. All the TCSL teachers should pay more attention to how to edit comparative sentences in a properly order and teach students in details.This paper is on basis of ontology research on grammar points of comparative sentences from scholars and comparative sentences research in TCSL as well as relative research on TCSL textbooks, with Boya Chinese Second Edition, Chinese Teaching Book Revised Edition and The Development of Chinese Second Edition as a case and The Outline of HSK level standard grammar level and The Outline of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language grammar as a standard. Meanwhile, this paper compares the distribution and teaching features of comparative sentences in three primary TCSL textbooks horizontally and emergency and recurrence in only one textbook vertically. Through the analysis of exercises types and practicing objectives in textbooks, this paper strive to put forward a more reasonable idea of TCSL book compiling, design comparative sentences in a good order and in recurrence position and help the oversea students learn and understand this grammar points. At the same time, this paper also suggest the teachers how to arrange comparative sentences learning courses and practices.
