Relationship Between Cultural Industry Development And Economic Growth Of Jiangxi Province

To achieve the sustained economic development, China is vigorously promoting the transformation of economic development way and advancing the adjustment of the industrial structure, the tertiary industry will be a breakthrough in the transformation and adjustment. Cultural industry, as an important part of the tertiary industry, has already become pillar industry of the national economy in many developed countries,is an important indication of the comprehensive strength of a country or region, plays a significant role in boosting the economy. The cultural industry in China had a late start but progressing rapidly, Jiangxi Province plans to increased significantly the proportion of the added value of cultural industry in the national economy, and the cultural industry will have higher growth rate than the GDP. The main business income of the cultural industry will exceed 200 billion yuan, and then promote the cultural industry to become pillar industry of the national economy.The cultural industry has drawn wide public attention. Many countries have taken the development of the cultural industry as a strategic level of nation,meanwhile, many scholars have devoted to the study of the cultural industry and have made contribution to the cultural industry. This paper takes Jiangxi Province as the study object, and according to the latest data to research the relationship between cultural industry development and economic growth of Jiangxi Province to provide a little help for developing the cultural industry in Jiangxi Province.Firstly, the connotation and characteristic of the cultural industry are discussed,and then the current situation of the development of both cultural industry and economy in Jiangxi Province are introduced, then the relationship between cultural industry development and economic growth is analyzed: To begin with, using the method of gray correlation analysis to the correlation of cities of Jiangxi Province and the results show that there is a strong correlation between the two; and then using the135 Department input-output table released by the Jiangxi Bureau of statistics in 2007 to analyze the economic effect of cultural industry in Jiangxi Province on the three industry and cultural industry itself; Lastly, the coordination degree model and coordinated development degree model are introduced and calculated respectively on the basis of 31 provinces or cities in China and the cities in Jiangxi Province in order to overall understand the situation of coordination development between the cultural industry and economic growth in Jiangxi Province.In addition, this paper uses the gray GM(1,1) model to predict development trend of the cultural industry and the economic development in the future for a period of time; Finally, the problems of cultural industry development in Jiangxi Province are discussed and some favorable suggestions are put forward.
