Research On The Effects Of Fujian's Cultural Industry On Economic Growth From The Perspective Of Input And Output

The cultural industry has not only developed into an important pillar industry of the developed countries,but also has become a strategic industry,which has a significant impact on the regional economy and social development.The contribution of the development of cultural industry to the economy has become one of the hotspots of public attention.Scholars have carried out diversified researches on this issue from the input-output field,but there are still some shortcomings of the classification of departments and analysis of space-time dimension.Fujian,located in southeast coast of China with rich cultural resources,is an important starting point for the ancient maritime Silk Road and identified as the core area of the maritime Silk Road in twenty-first Century,which brings new opportunities and challenges for Fujian's cultural economy.This paper applies input-output technology to study the development of cultural industry in Fujian province through transverse and longitudinal analysis in order to give reasonable suggestions to the cultural industry of Fujian province.Firstly,by organizing the definition and classification of cultural industry,this paper calculates the cultural industry data according to the latest classification standard of cultural industry with the help of economic census data to compile the original input-output tables of Fujian,Guangdong and Shandong province.Then input-output tables of the present price of cultural industry in Fujian,Guangdong and Shandong provinces in 2012 are compiled.Secondly,input-output tables of the comparable price of cultural industry of Fujian province are also compiled by establishing the price conversion index.Thirdly,the static and dynamic comparative analysis of input-output is carried out by using the input-output tables.It includes the analysis of quantity dependence,the analysis of distribution and use,the analysis of industry type,the analysis of industrial relevance,the analysis of input and output structure,the analysis of production induction,the analysis of the economic benefit and the analysis of the effect of price fluctuation.Finally,it reveals the problems in the development of cultural industry in Fujian province and puts forward corresponding policy recommendations.The empirical analysis shows that the development of cultural industry in Fujian mainly depends on the second industry;it has a strong diffusion effect;the consumption service characteristics are gradually enhanced;its internal structure is not reasonable;the investment in fixed assets is declining;its development depends on the export and investment;its economic benefit is obvious;price adjustment has a wide range of impact.Therefore,Fujian province needs to pay attention to the correlation of different industries,promoting the coordinated development of cultural and non-cultural industries,improving the income of the residents of Fujian,optimizing the internal structure of cultural industry,encouraging the export of cultural industry and expanding financing channels of cultural industry to lead the healthy and orderly development of the cultural industry in Fujian.
