A Study Of Farmland Water Conservancy In Jiangxi Province Of Qing Dynasty

From the perspective of regional socioeconomic history studies, and based on the study of the farmland water conservancy, this paper mainly investigates the situation, characteristics, organization, management and the influence to the local society of the farmland water conservancy in Jiangxi province of Qing Dynasty.Then explore the interaction of the state and local society in Qing Dynasty.Firstly, starting from the natural geographical environment of Jiangxi,investigate the background of the farmland water conservancy in Jiangxi province of Qing Dynasty.Then based on recordation of local gazetteer, investigate the situation and characteristics of the farmland water conservancy in Jiangxi province of Qing Dynasty. It points out that the organization and management form of the farmland water conservancy gradually changed from the official to the officer non-government and private, but is mainly run by the local people under the official. Local gentlemen and local people are actively involved in the organization and management of farmland water conservancy facilities, showing the tendency of the folklore. Local officials as spokesperson for the state power, they are authoritative in the local affairs.Thirdly, investigate the influence on agricultural ecological, environment, local power structure and local culture.
