A Study On The Structure And Competitiveness Of Hunan Province In Cultural Industrial,based On The Shift-share Analysis Method

The cultural industry is developing rapidly worldwide, in so many countries, it has become one of the pillar industries of national economy. With the continuous development of social economy and the change of cultural concept, the cultural industry of China plays an increasingly important role in the national economy. IN Hunan province, the cultural industry is booming, especially the development in publishing, radio and television industry, the cultural leisure industry, they have already rank the top in the country.At present, shift-share analysis method has been widely used in the study of the structure and competitiveness of regional industrial, but it’s still so less to use this method in cultural industry. In view of the gap of the shift-share analysis method in region and industry, this article is going to study the structure and competitiveness of cultural industry in Hunan province with the shift-share analysis method, and give some suggestions to help Hunan cultural industry’s rapid development.First, this paper introduced the connotation, characteristic and basic theoretical of the cultural industry. It gave an overall evaluation to the development of Hunan cultural industry. First of all, it revealed the basic situation of Hunan cultural industry from the total scale, the condition of current situation, product status, market main body four aspects, and also analyzed the contribution to the economic growth of Hunan cultural industry, all of these gave an overall grasp on the present situation of the development of cultural industry of Hunan province. It analyzed its influence factors of structure and competitiveness from human resources, capital investment,innovation ability and the system, this lead a foundation of the analysis on Hunan cultural industry, and built the evaluation index system of the structure and competitiveness of regional cultural industry. This system gives an empirical analysis on the structure and competitiveness of cultural industry in Hunan with the shift-share analysis method. The results show that the industrial structure of the cultural industry in Hunan province was unreasonable. Compared with the china average level, the structure of journalism, internet cultural industry, cultural leisure and cultural tourismin Hunan province is at a disadvantage. In the terms of competitiveness. Although the cultural industry in Hunan province has a strong overall competitiveness, but the development between industries is uneven, culture and art industry, internet culture industry and cultural tourism are weak on its competitiveness. In the end, according to the result of the analysis, the paper proposed countermeasures for Hunan cultural industry to optimize its structure and enhance its competitiveness from the macro,mesa and micro three aspects. In summary, the suggestion are: improve the law and regulations of the development of cultural industry; the innovation of government management system; with an emphasis on innovation, improve the creativity of industry; build characteristic cultural industry area, start the brand strategy; improve the industrial concentration; balance the development between industries; strengthen the construction of talent team; build a diversified system of investment and financial.
