Adverbs are one of the main aspects related to the teaching of Chinese to foreigners, as well as one of the main contents studied by foreign students. The paper aims at making a comparison between the adverbs “you”, “hai” and “zai” toward the way they are studied by Mongolian foreign students. By means of questionnaires, comparison analysis, mistake analysis and translation based research the comparison analysis between “you”, “hai” and “zai” is carried out, and on the basis of the reason why Mongolian students make these mistakes, the author make further teaching suggestions.The papers includes the following paragraphs:Preface, describing the meaning and main objectives of the present research, theory approaches, methods and resources.First paragraph, including general description of “you”, “hai” and “zai”Second paragraph, including the following contents: 1. current meaning of “you”, “hai” and “zai”, 2. Their occurring in the Mongolian language through a comparison with Chinese, 3. Questionnaire research, including contents, person interviewed, results of the questionnaire research, 4. Investigation on adverbs occurrence, 5. Analysis(including the analysis on selected answers and analysis on the translation and sentence building), 6. Mistakes analysis.Third paragraph, mainly related to the analysis of the influence of mother tongue and its behavior and other factors such as teachers and teaching materials.Fourth paragraph, the author point out the main suggestions, especially through a focus on Mongolian student perspective and on the teaching of the adverbs. At the same time, the author will provide a prediction model and will put forward a solving strategy.Conclusion, which summarizes the main contents of the paper, including the innovative and not innovative perspective related to this paper.
