On Errors Of The Sixth Edition Modern Chinese Dictionary

In this paper,we choose the sixth edition Modern Chinese Dictionary(MCD for short)for study. We learn from the errors in it and correct them all.This essay can be aparted for five parts. The first part is a brief introduction to the MCD. Analysis the contributions the ever published MCD had made,Introduced the researches on this dictionary,and make sense of the researches on errors of the sixth edition MCD so that we can have an idea of this researches’ material and proposal and methods.The second part is the errors that not containing the necessary words and decided similar words which is the important one to be exactly explained.Researches on paraphrasing has been the core and popular part for the researchers. The third part is the paraphrasing errors that occupied the most part of this paper and it is actually important. This part contains the errors of speech tagging and the errors of paraphrasing language. There, the second part can be aparted to four kinds of mistakes:deletion of the paraphrasing language, false of the paraphrasing language, improper of the paraphrasing language and the mistakes of meaning separations.This kind of the apartment is related to the theories of how to compile a good dictionary and other theories of linguistics.The forth part is about the errors of the example illustration.We can find this kind of errors from the paraphrasing language and the example illustrations thems elves.The fifth part is a conclusion. Summarized that practicability and the importa nce of this research.We use the scientific methods for this study and made an scientific result wit h this,use other dictionaries to modified the errors carefully so that made our MC D user can use words exactly.Hope that this paper can make a contribution for th e studies of the MCD...
