The Research Of Disabled Soldiers In Jiangxi Province During The Anti-Japanese War

In the programme of Anti-Japanese War which the Chinese national government published in 1938 said that we need to take care of the disabled soldiers and their relatives, helping them in every parts of live. It can promote popular morale and encourage more people to join the army. So how to solve the problem of the disabled soldiers has become the most important work of country during the wartime. Jiang Xi Province was the back of the east battleground, which could resettle the disabled soldiers. And this work was a vital project during the war. According to the incomplete statistics, there were almost 330,000 resettled disabled soldiers in Jiang Xi Province, which was one fifth of Nationalist Party army’s wounded soldiers.Until today, how to support disabled soldiers is still a problem that we should pay more attention. This thesis firstly uses historical materials to expound and express the disabled soldiers’ living situations which resettled by Jiang Xi government. Then it systematically discuss the resettlement measures of government and populace’s pacify behavior which encouraged by the government that can demonstrates the time and historical background of the resettled disabled soldiers group in Jiang Xi during the Anti-Japanese War. In the end, through the historical materials, thesis demonstrates the effects and deficiencies of disabled soldiers’ resettlement measures by Jiang Xi.And through comparing resettlement project in Jiang Xi with other provinces at the same time and full-fledged system of other countries, the thesis analyses the cause of prominent performance and superiority of disabled soldiers’ resettlement in Jiang Xi,and also analyses the characteristic and deficiencies of National Government during the Anti-Japanese War. It has the realistic guidance significance to resettling and compensating for disabled soldiers in nowadays.However, the study of the resettlement project of disabled soldiers in Jiang Xi Province is in the elementary stage and many of the research findings concentrate on pension system, which has involved the resettlement project of disabled soldiers but not thorough. Even though the research findings of resettlement project of disabled soldiers of the war has appeared, but the study of district is not enough, and study about resettlement project of disabled soldiers Jiang Xi Province is in blank. This thesis will study the problem in the preliminary stage and serve as a modest spur to induce someone to come. Welcome teachers to point out shortcomings so that theycan be corrected.
