A Practice Report On Transaltion Of Taxes Budget Of CBO Official Website

This paper is practical translation report based on the texts from the taxes topic on the Congressional Budget Office website which introduce the information about budget, taxes, acts and polices on transportation and infrastructure. The translation version acts as an reference for Heilongjiang province Budget Engineering Committee in the aspects of the supervision of budgets and final accounts, budget adjustment projects and the execution of budgets.This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is the introduction of the client, the translation task, and the request of the client. Chapter two mainly introduces the translation progress. The preparation before translation involves the related professional knowledge and terminology about taxes, the study of parallel texts, and some translation theories. The work after translation is about the team correction and the quality feedback. Chapter three is the main part which enumerates how to deal with the long sentences translation.At last, this paper makes a precious experience about translation, and it will contribute to translation practice in the future.
