A Report On The Translation Of The Adverse Events Caused By Decorative Contact Lenses

This translation practice report is based on the translation task of the Adverse Events Caused by Decorative Contact Lenses, including four major parts:the task description, the procedure description, the case analysis and the summery and conclusion. The task description and procedure description give an overall exploration about the task, including the reason to choose this material, where this text is originated from, the textual analysis of the translation text and the detailed steps to fulfill the tasks etc. The case analysis is the main part of this report. In this part, there is an analysis about its style characteristics, then initial research and exploration is made on the medical English translation strategy and skills. Finally, the author makes a research on the errors and the problems in the translation process. In the summary and conclusion part, generalize some translation strategies and skills on medical English translation, and the author’s feelings through the fulfillment of the task.
