Protections And Utilizations Of Jingdezhen Ceramic Industry Heritages

With the improvement of protecting and recycling theory for industry heritages, the enhance of protecting potency and people’s awareness of protection of industry heritages, industrial relics of the past industrial age reemerged in front of people’s eyes in different protected modes and refresh ways. Such industrial heritages full of historical memory traces are playing an important role in people’s life.Transition of Jingdezhen ceramic industry process from traditional handicraft to industrialization was analyzed on the basis of history, materials science, ceramic technology and archaeological disciplines with the objective of Jingdezhen ceramic industrial heritage protection and utilization. The resulting economic and social problems are also primarily concerned. Since the end of last century, a lot of ceramic factories in Jingdezhen went bankrupt with the decay of ceramic industry and restructuring, leaving a large number of ceramic industry heritages.In this paper, the research theory of industrial heritages was summarized and the status quo of the industrial heritage at home and abroad was also analyzed. Further discussion was performed under the direction of these multiple theories. Firstly, the transition of Jingdezhen ceramic industries from handicraft to industrialization was discussed in detail; it is concluded that the introduction of technology, personnel and equipments during the industrialization process for Jingdezhen ceramic industry in ways of digestion and absorption is more suitable for the development of Jingdezhen ceramic industry. And this provides a reference for the development of Jingdezhen ceramic industry heritages in the future. Secondly, the existing industrial ceramic relics were sorted and classified and the composition and characteristics of the Jingdezhen ceramic industrial heritage were discussed in detail. The results show that discontinuity of time, space, discontinuity and technical value are the main features of Jingdezhen ceramic industrial heritages. The direction for the protection of Jingdezhen ceramic industrial heritage was pointed out.At the end of the paper, Renmin porcelain factory, Hongqi porcelain facory and Yuzhou porcelain factory were used as the cases. The main characteristic of industrial heritages and their existing problems in different porcelain industry geographic environment and protection were put forward to protect the model and the system, and come up with some new ways to protect and reuse the Jingdezhen ceramics industrial heritages.In addition, Yu’ zhou porcelain factory was designed by School of Architecture of Tsinghua University, in a matter of two years to finish the design. Lv’ di group company capital injected to protect the whole porcelain factories in a creative and developmental way. The porcelain factories will be transformed into a commercial, entertainment and culture in the integration of creative park in more than two years. The Yu’ zhou porcelain factory reconstruction will strongly prove the feasibility of this project.
