Study On The Model Of Gu-shaped Porcelain

In the process of human civilization development all creation activities of human are around the life needs. Not excepting the development of the Gu-shaped porcelain. The development of the Gu-shaped porcelain has a long history, distinctive features and rich cultural connotation based on its material value. The Gu-shaped porcelain’s material and spiritual culture are related to meet the needs and aesthetic needs of people.In this paper, from the perspective of art design, By using such as Archaeology, Philology, Design, Art, History, and other research methods as tools and song, Yuan, Ming, Qing dynasties’as historical background to summarize the main features of the Gu-shaped porcelain through these four dynasties. And analyze the Gu-shaped porcelain’s style characteristics and Function evolvement during each period. Through graphics and statistics method makes a horizontal classification of the Gu-shaped porcelain by it’s divers archaized feature and it’s partial creativity. The author Elaborates its origination and evolution from the whole to the part of the Gu-shaped porcelain and attempts to reveal the contemporary significance of modern ceramic design and broaden the design ideas from the Gu-shaped porcelain’s use, culture, development and innovation.
