This practice report is based on the interpreting experience of the author’s interpreting services to Zsolt Lavicza during the International Conference of Chinese Association of Mathematics Education(ICCAME) in the end of June, 2014. In view of the author’s actual interpreting practice, the part of case analysis mainly aims at Escort Interpreting and Conference Interpreting. Combing with the relevant interpreting theoretical knowledge which includes the Interpretive Theory of Translation and Brain Distribution Pattern of Consecutive Interpreting, the author tries to carry out specific analyses on the problems in the process by putting forward the corresponding countermeasures.The full text is divided into five parts. The first part includes the background of the interpreting task,objects of the task and significance of the task. An overview of the task is provided in the second part. The third part is the interpreting process, which firstly includes the detailed preparations before interpreting as following: the preparation of tools, reference books, background information of both the conference and the target client, the glossary of terms, the relevant interpreting theories and techniques, other preparations such as accented English, catering custom and emergency plan are also prepared before the interpreting task;then the details while interpreting include the quality control; and evaluations from all sides after interpreting at last. Based on the relevant interpreting theories and techniques in the third part, the author mainly analyses some cases of interpreting process in detail and gives the relevant advice in the fourth part.The last part is the conclusion. The author tries her best to sum up experience from her own interpreting practice via text form. At the same time, the corresponding methods and strategies are also provided by the author so as to lay the solid foundation for the future interpreting career as well as provide the reference for other interpreters.
