Vocabulary Teaching Practice During Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language To Children

With the spread of Chinese around the world, Chinese has been attached lots of attention among the International Community. Chinese Learners in Moldova have also come to a new stage, kids started to learn Chinese.Under this circumstance, a lot of problems existing in teaching Chinese as second language were exposed, such as the problems existing in Chinese textbook, lack of special foreign language teachers for children and teaching methods. Children in the year of 4-7 are at a critical stage of language learning, they need the higher demands of teachers and teaching methods comparing with the adults.Through analyzing the physical, psychological and linguistic characteristics of children at 4-7 years old, this thesis explains why we should use special teaching methods during vocabulary teaching for children and how to carry out special teaching. The thesis will also talks the benefits of teaching Chinese in interesting methods. After practicing in local kindergarten of Moldova, the author is going to give some samples of the design teaching content and choose right teaching methods, which can give some references to the coming voluntary teachers in Moldova.
