Research On The Interchangeable Characters & Ancient-Modern Characters From The Qin Bamboo Slips In LiYe

At June 2002, a large number of Qin bamboo slips were unearthed in LiYe of XiangXi. The total amount is more than 36,000. It’s more than ten times in the previous. With a considerable number of records as well as the precious of content, it can help to provide abundant materials for us to study the history of Qin dynasty. This paper deals with two kinds of characters specially used in Qin bamboo slips of LiYe. They are interchangeable characters and ancient-modern characters.This paper is divided into three chapters. Chapter one is introduction, it’s make a brief introduction about research object, significance, status and method.Chapter two is the research on interchangeable characters of the Qin bamboo slips in LiYe. Firstly, it makes a simple overview of interchangeable characters’ definition. Meanwhile, there are some standards for this paper’s interchangeable characters. Then, making a concrete analysis from three different angles: rhyme, character form and correspondence between interchangeable characters&ancient-modern characters. Thirdly, it analyzed initials and finals from the interchangeable characters of Qin bamboo slips in LiYe, and comparing with the ancient phonetic phenomena. Fourthly, make a conclusion about these interchangeable characters’ feature, origin and value.Chapter three is the research on ancient-modern characters of the Qin bamboo slips in LiYe. Firstly, make a discussion about the definition of the ancient-modern characters. Then, explaining this ancient-modern characters.Thirdly, study on these ancient-modern characters from their pronunciation, meaning and form.
