Company profile is a variant of Business English with the feature of strong professional and diverse terminology. Nowadays, with the rapid development of globalization, more and more enterprises are participating into international competition, expecting to extend their products and services in the international market. Company profile plays quite an important role in establishing a good image, expanding overseas markets and building a world-renowned brand. Although many companies have fully recognized the importance of C-E translation of company profile, the problems still exist in many aspects, thus hampering effective communication of Chinese company and the international market. The analysis of these problems and strategies are significant for the improvement of C-E translation of company profiles.This report states the framework of Skopos theory and the three rules, based on which the author analyzes the company profiles of Henan Yuantong Textile Group Co. Ltd., Zhengzhou Jingmei Garment Co. Ltd. and Henan investment guarantee Co. Ltd. The report describes the task background and translation process from Skopos theory perspective.On the basis of company profiles translation under the guidance of Skopos theory, the author put forward the translation methods. During this process, difficulties are found in the select of lexica, the restructuring of syntactic and the cultural background. Based on these difficulties, the author puts forward three strategies, namely, deletion, addition and restructuring.
