The mascot is the items which to people think better and can bring good luck. It’s creativity and elements come from life after being highly overviewed. On the one hand, Games mascot can reflect the unique regional style and deep cultural connotation of organizers. O n the other hand, it brings great profits to host country. In several major events held in C hina such as the Beijing O lympic, the Eleventh Asian Games, Shanghai World Expo and other unique mascots, have achieved great success. It is no exaggeration to say that the role of a mascot is far beyond dozens or even hundreds of individual role. As a symbol of the games, mascots are popular merchandise. For example, Fuwa is the mascot of Beijing O lympic sold out of stock which inspired more merchant to design mascots.This topic will focus on a comprehensive analysis on the Games mascot design and combined with successful examples at home and abroad to analyze the features, functions and rules of design. Games mascot have the symbolic and user-friendly feathers and the ability to sustenance of good wipes, reflecting the spread of cultural, aesthetic and entertainment, and economic functions. Different kinds of value of mascot will be discussed in the paper: cultural values, physical values, spiritual values, educational value and commercial value, emphasizing its commercial value. The commercial value of games mascot is varied. Highlighting the economic value of t he trademark, the value of the image of the mascot, the value of mascot derivative products and it can promote the development of tourism. At last, it will be a prospect to the development of Game mascots.
