As we all know that the Chinese, with the development of China’s economic and national prosperity is widespread. In order to promote the Chinese language actively and promote cultural exchanges and friendship between China and the whole world, Chinese Hanban started a project named Chinese teacher volunteers in 2003, which aims to spread Chinese teacher volunteers to other countries, promoting Chinese and Chinese culture. Thailand is the first country received volunteers, and has the largest number of Chinese teacher volunteer. The item is most mature in Thailand all over the world. Chinese teacher volunteers entrusted with the multi-mission of Chinese communication and cultural exchange and their quality directly affects the process of Chinese spreading and China’s image overseas. Therefore, the pre-service training of the Chinese teacher volunteer is very important. What’s the volunteers demand for in the end ? How about their situation in teaching, cultural adaptation and psychological conditioning? Whether the volunteer training can really play for the needs of practical training effect? How to carry out the volunteer training better and better ? Those are the starting point that I decided to write this paper. Based on the new situation of Chinese international promotion, I made an investigation and analysis of the pre-service training of volunteers. First I carefully studied the Chinese teacher volunteer training program, curriculum and class settings of initial times, three years ago, and now. And made a comparative analysis of curriculum setting; Then I did a survey to volunteers who have been in Thailand for nearly five months and analyzed their life, psychological status to summarize their main issues and needs; Then I raised some recommendations and suggestions about the pre-service training of Chinese teacher volunteer.The first part of this paper describes the background and significance of this research, indicating the research methods and objects. The second part illustrates the training syllabus,curriculum settings in recent years. The main part focused on the volunteer survey analysis and some suggestions and comments to the pre-service training,which is the third and forth part of this paper. The fifth part is the conclusion, inadequate summary and recommendations to the follow-up study.
