This article firstly sorts out the research status of the migrant children’s mental health and subjective well-being, and discusses about the advantageous application and five aspects roles of music therapy in migrant children, and finally, designs a set of music therapy intervention program by myself to the migrant children with lower subjective well-being, which are from a school for children of migrant workers in Chongqing City,so as to expand the application field of music therapy, and provide a new technology support for migrant children’s mental health work.Three survey tools were chose for this study, which are respectively Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS), Inventory of Subjective Life Quality(ISLQ) and Children Music Experiences Questionnaire by myself. According to the scores, the sample was divided into intervention group and control group and every group includes 20 people.The intervention group was intervened by music therapy about once a week, 45 minutes every time and 10 times in all; whereas, there is no treatment for the control group. And then, assess the feasibility and validity of the music therapy in the field of migrant children through the comparison of change before and after the intervention.At last, we come to the conclusion as follows:1、 Music therapy can effectively improve the migrant children’s ability of perceived social support;2、 Music therapy can effectively improve the migrant children’s subjective well-being.
