Report On The Translation Of The Spirit Of Entrepreneurship

This is a translation report on The Spirit of Entrepreneurship. The source text presents the central concepts in new venture creation and entrepreneurial management, explores the typical personal characteristics of the entrepreneur, the process of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial styles with 60 cases of venturing.Under the guidance of Skopos theory, this paper analyzes the translation practice systematically and summarizes translation strategies based on the case study. This report is divided into four parts. Chapter One is the description of the translation task, including the significance of this project and the analysis of the source text. Chapter Two is the description of task process: preparation, translation process and revising. Chapter Three analyses several typical cases,summarizing some translation strategies from lexical, syntactic and textual levels respectively. Chapter Four is the summary and reflections on this translation practice.
