Study On African Confucius Institutes’ Chinese Volunteers’ Overseas Cultural Activities Of Special Topics

To carry out cultural activities today has become one of the main tasks of Chinese volunteer teachers, but also an important way to promote college Confucius Chinese culture. Understanding has important practical significance to the specific circumstances Confucius school cultural activities.In this paper, Confucius college volunteers to carry out special cultural activities as the research object, to volunteer overseas Chinese teachers conducted a questionnaire survey and depth interview. Using the theory of communication, from five aspects of communicators, content, media, audience and communication effect in the investigation and Research on the current overseas to carry out thematic cultural activities. The results of the study show that, at present, Confucius special cultural activities showed the following characteristics and problems: first, spread mainly by the Chinese camp of graduate students majoring in composition, showing an overall quality, multi discipline. But there is lack of advanced talents and teachers instability problems. Second, a variety of media in parallel, but the poster and the network as the main means of publicity, experience and performance as the main organized form. Third, a wide range of audiences, interest diversity. Fourth, communication content covers a wide range, but the surface of the concrete Chinese, traditional culture, and cultural exchanges with the local convergence problem. Fifth, generally speaking, special cultural activities better communication effect, the spread of different subjects, information, and the audience will have different degrees of influence on the dissemination effect. The problems exposed are mainly for communication effect assessment and tracking weak. To solve these problems, the author put forward the following suggestions. First of all, Hanban should attract new talent, enrich the Confucius college teachers; for the benefit of volunteers, volunteers stay stimulation. Secondly, to strengthen the communication between volunteers, learn from the successful experience of the case from the others held in. Again, Confucius college should strengthen the interaction with the local culture and the mutual aid organization.
