Qing Zhou Longxing Temple Buddhist hoard statues are unearthed because of building a school in 1996. A large number of stone statues of exquisite beyond compare shocked the people from all walks of life at home and abroad. The archaeological discovery has attracted many experts and scholars began to research on the Qing Zhou Longxing Temple hoard statues. CCTV columns Archaeology in China and National Archives made special reports on Qing Zhou Longxing Temple statues. More and more people begin to pay attention to Qing Zhou, the town has a long history but seems to have been forgotten. The Mountain Buddhist grotto is slowly taken seriously by the world. However, so far most of experts and scholars are devoted to the study of Longxing Temple of hoard statues; while not too much reading Qing Zhou remains grotto. This paper focuses on the research of grotto art characteristics in Shandong area of Qing Zhou, and summarizes the related factors of these artistic characteristics.This article begins from the remains of Shandong region of Qing Zhou grotto art, and discovers Qing Zhou grotto is mainly produced in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. This article finds reasons to the prosperity of Qing Zhou during the Sui and Tang Dynasties. This paper focuses on the characteristics of grotto art in Qing Zhou during the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and using a number of factors to prove point of view. The paper Summarize the status and influence of Qing Zhou Grotto. The author puts forward some protection strategies according to the status quo of Qing Zhou grotto relics and calls on the whole society to pay attention to protect the precious cultural heritage.
