| The purpose of this study including:(i) to develop a group counseling on improving college students’ dormitory interpersonal relations;(ii) to verify the effect of the group counseling.1. Development. The present study suggests that the college students’ dormitory interpersonal relationship is essentially a psychological relationship. The influencing factors of the college students’ dormitory interpersonal relationship including students’ gender, grade, school management system, and family socioeconomic status. Group counseling on improving college students’ dormitory interpersonal relationship becomes necessary. Today,the psychological problems on college students’ dormitory interpersonal relationship are mainly concentrated in three areas:(i) the self-perception problems,(ii) the social perception of the problems,and(iii) is the communication skills and attitude problems. the study found that previous studies on college students dormitory interpersonal group counseling programs are more concentrated in these three aspects. However, in the past only to solve a single research group counseling psychological problems, or focus on communication skills, or focus on self-awareness, social consciousness or stressed, it is inevitable trade-off. Based on this understanding, this study on the basis of previous studies try to put forward a comprehensive program aimed at improving the Group Counseling Students Dormitory Interpersonal Relations. The program covers three modules: self-perception of self-efficacy training activities, social perception and attribution way interpersonal communication training activities in communication skills training activities. The theoretical basis of the theory of self-efficacy, attribution theory, the theory of interpersonal communication and group dynamics theory.2. Effect.(i) Objective: This study was designed to test the effectiveness of college students dormitory interpersonal group counseling programs.(ii) Method: In this study, taken before and after the experimental design and other groups measured. Used in this study is the general self-efficacy scale, due to the multi-dimensional scale dormitory interpersonal Diagnostic Scale, Social Avoidance and Distress Scale as a screening and assessment tool, first used stratified sampling method to extract Hunan Normal freshman to senior students in 480, through dormitory interpersonal diagnostic scale and interview students to understand the general situation, the election has some troubled students dormitory interpersonal(scale score of 9 points or more), in conjunction with classmates and instructors teacher evaluation and individual interviews to determine the 80 subjects, which 80 students dormitory interpersonal diagnostic amount total average score of 9.29, was completely testers were randomly incorporated into the experimental group(40 people) and control group(40 people). Respectively, using the above measurement tools in group counseling before and after the test and post-test counseling carried out before. Experimental group members about once a week to accept the 90-minute group counseling, a total of six times. While the control group members without any counseling.(iii) Results: Usually measured before and after the self-efficacy scale score was significantly different; multi-dimensional scale due to the ability to score significant difference on efforts dimension; dormitory interpersonal conversation Diagnostic Scale, roommate support two dimensions experimental group and control group scored significant difference; avoid social avoidance and distress scale on the distress and out of the three dimensions of the members of the two groups was significantly different scores.(4) Conclusion: Interpersonal group counseling for college students dormitory interpersonal self-efficacy, ability attribution, attribution efforts, conversation, roommates support, social avoidance and significantly improved performance on several dimensions distress.In conclusion, this study group counseling programs have some counseling effect. |
