The Criminal Materials Researched In The Qin Bamboo Slips

This paper is based on Shuihudi Bamboo slips,Liye Bamboo slips,Yuelu Bamboo slips,Fangmatan Bamboo slips,combined with Zhangjiashan Bamboo slips and the literature from Xianqin.The thesis is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter,analysis categories and sources of criminals in Qin bamboo slips. The categories including Chengdanchong, Guixinbaican, Lichenqie, Sikou, Hou,Xiali and Juzishuzhai.There are three kind of sources of criminals which are crime,prisoner and buying. Also,the crime including theft, fled, hurting people, documents fraud, cheating government and so on.In the second chapter,discussed criminals registration and some related questions.Criminals have their own registeration,in different from freedom legals. Government serve the registeration as an evidence to treat criminals. and according to criminals birth and death to statistics the number of criminals, height to distinguish small and large,work and can’t work,provide the reference for criminals food and work.In the third chapter,focused on criminals’ distribution and reception.Based on Liye bamboo slips,criminals management by Cang and Sikong.Cang distributes Lichenqie,and Sikong distributes Chengdanchong, Guixinbaican, Juzishuzhai.Some institutions such as Tianguan, Chuguan, Ku, Shaonei needs criminals to work, have to apply for the superior. Mainly discussed about crinimals’ food and clothes, sickness, freedom, property, crime, absolution,imprisonment.When we analysis crinimals freedom, we know that Lichenqie have some free time to do their own things,could be engaged in business. In discussedcrime,realise that crimes include escape, zishu and false accusation. This all important in understanding criminals social status and living conditions.
