Application And Research In The Perspective Of Modern Interior Design Of Hallowed-out Wood Carving

As an important part of traditional Chinese decoration, hallowed-out wood carving is gradually occupy a major position in the traditional interior decoration in the development of history, and with the integration of traditional culture and cultural connotations, it is forming a very rich cultural heritage. Since the Interior design has developed so far today, as the same time people are enjoy the environment space, they also have a increasingly requirements of the spiritual, cultural, and personality of the design of space. Compare to traditional interior design and modern interior design, regardless of the functional requirements or cultural meaning, modern interior design has the modern features of the new century. This article is about to start from differences between ancient culture decoration and modern culture decoration, and based on the art features of the hollowed-out wood carving, study and summary the new pictures of modern interior design has presented.The art features that hallowed-out wood carving has exhibited in the modern interior design are inherit from Ming and Qing Dynasties, which as the time that the hallowed-out artworks have been very mature in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The essence of modern interior design in the hollowed-out wood carving is inherit Chinese traditional culture emphasizes the "Harmony between man and nature, and Imitation of Nature", and combines the advantages of the Western space design. With the development of the times, the needs of people, the design style of Chinese and Western have been gradually communion inter-working, it has been showing a new breed of aesthetic and decorative significance. In addition, under the influences of the modern interior design, hollowed-out wood carving has been given a new meaning on both artistic and cultural sides, which makes using of modern interior design has become increasingly rich.This paper is divided into five parts to study, introduction described the main points of the research background of carvings modern interior design, significance, research status are described in two ways which include the current background of hollow-out wood carving and the application of it in the modern interior design, thus, to prove the originality and the necessity of this study, point out the value of the study, build the framework and method for preparation of papers; the second part starts from the origin art departure of the hollow-out wood carving, research hollowed-out woodcarving culture, and the development process and performance. Treat the selection, textures, materials, which contain historical and cultural patterns openwork carving artistic contents as the research object, and point out the parallel features including hollowed-out wood carving in Ming and Qing Dynasties, which about to discuss combine it’s decorative and practical. The third part focus on the hollowed-out wood artworks in interior space design, analysis of its interface, and performance practices in the interior furnishings; the third part is extracted from the application, the performance of the theme of use carvings in the hollow space to reflect the performance of the interface; the fourth part from the perspective of modern interior design, study the relationship between hollowed-out wood carving and modern interior design ad the roles it plays in space design, then analyzes the inheritance and innovation of hollowed-out wood carving art in modern interior design, therefore, starting the design practice, to confirm the validity of this study; the last part of this paper summarizes the findings collate research article, as well as deficiencies in the study, and Share some experiences in the research and writing process.
