A Reflective Report On The Simulated C-E CI Of The Lecture“Economic Development Prospect In 2015”

This is a simulated C-E CI reflective report which is based on an economic lecture. The theme of the lecture is the economic development prospect of China in 2015. During the simulated CI, the author interpreted the records of the lecture, then made analysis and conclusions of the simulated CI.This report consists of three chapters. The first chapter is the task description. In this chapter, the author describes the preparation of the parallel texts and introduces the whole process of the simulated CI. The next chapter analyzes the language features of the source text and points out the possible difficulties for interpreting. In the third chapter, the author focuses on over self-correction, improper pauses and grammatical problems and provides corresponding solutions such as addition, omission, short term memory, etc.By reflecting on the record of this simulated CI, the interpreter finds the problems and makes proposals for improvement, which lays a good foundation for her future interpreting. Meanwhile, the author hopes this report may provide some valuable experience for the interpreting of materials about economic development.
