Reseach On Phonetic Notation And Interpretation For Liushuzheng’e

Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》),written by Boqi Zhou who lived in Yuan dynasty,is divided into five parts:upper level tone,lower level tone,rising tone,falling tone and entering tone.It is a dictionary that can dialect word’s shape.It mainly reference point on Shuowenjiezi(《说文解字》),and other books like Yupian(《玉篇》)Guangyun(《广韵》)Jiyun(《集韵》)are used to correct the phonetic notation and interpretation.Besides,a according to Xiaozhuan shape,Boqi Zhou also add some new interpretation to it.The phonetic is mainly chosen from Jiyun(《集韵》)and Gujinyunhuijuyao(《古今韵会举要》),and a few of it was effected by Guangyun.At the same time,this dictionary also reflects the evolution of a certain shape,the changes of word’s interpretation,and even put forward the concept of grammaticalization.It belongs liushu(六书)systems in the book Sikuquanshu(《四库全书》)as same as Liushugu(《六书故》)Liushutong(《六书统》).However,the evaluation of the book is not high in history,so the articles about systematic study of the book is relatively little.Most research study about the value of identifying the Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》)’s vulgar.There is a few article study about its phonetic interpretation.However,as a dictionary,the study about phonetic and interpretation of Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》)is necessary.This article will attempt to analyze the phonetic and interpretation of Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》)systematically.Firstly,it discusses the style characteristics and sources of phonetic and interpretation.It turns out that Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》)not only has unique characteristics but also has some similarities with Gujinyunhuijuyao(《古今韵会举要》).Secondly,it compares Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》)with Yupian(《玉篇》)Guangyun(《广韵》)Jiyun(《集韵》)about the phonetic and interpretation.From this,we can see the value of Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》)on interpretation and other existing problems.Thirdly,it teases out Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》)’s impact on Zihui(《字汇》)and Hanyudazidian(《汉语大字典》).Fourthly,summarizing the fault of phonetic and interpretation.Fifth,summed up the major features of Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》)’s phonetic and interpretation,and sparse card of Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》)’s phonetic and interpretation.In short,through the research of its phonetic and interpretation,summarizing the characteristics and laws of the phonetic and interpretation,we can make a more impartial and comprehensive evaluation of Liushuzheng’e(《六书正譌》).
