| This translation report is based on the translation practice of Golden Aging-Prospects for Healthy, Active and Prosperous Aging in Europe and Central Asia (excerpt) published by World Bank Group. It can direct the policy-making by studying the issues about aging in relative countries and regions in the setting of "the Belt and Road Initiatives". This book generally introduces the situation of aging and points out the reasons, influence, and future trend of aging in Europe and Central Asia. The translation of selected text can help to deal with aging and problems in the process of demographic transition.The author of the report firstly analyzes and concludes that the source text belongs to informative text from the perspective of text type theory of K. Reiss. And, the principles of accuracy and fluency are applied in the translating. The author focuses on the vocabulary and sentence to solve the problems during translation.
