In international education of Chinese, learners need to use Chinese appellation language reasonably if they desire to complete communicative tasks to achieve communicative purpose.Through consulting relevant literature, the author predicates definition to the concept of appellation language and divides it into two categories: relative appellation and public relations appellation. Relative appellation can be divided into consanguinity appellation and affinity appellation. Public relations appellation can be divided into relationships appellation, title appellation, modest respect appellation, intimate appellation and tease appellation. Based on two sets of teaching material for spoken language, Elementary Oral Chinese, Intermediate Oral Chinese, the author makes statistical analysis and inductive classification for the appellation which appears at texts, comments, exercises on the text and vocabulary in the teaching materials. The result shows that the number of appellation in Elementary Oral Chinese is 90, and 18 of 90 is relative appellation, approximately 20%. 72 of 90 is public relations appellation, approximately 80%. 55 of 90 is direct address appellation. 41 of 90 is indirect address appellation. The number of appellation in Intermediate Spoken Chinese is 123, and 26 of 123 is relative appellation, approximately 21.1%. 97 of 123 is public relations appellation, approximately 78.9%. 99 of 123 is direct address appellation. 26 of 123 is indirect address appellation. Combining with language environment, the author differentiates and analyses the content of the teaching material, segment direct address appellation and indirect address appellation. Using the relative appellation and public relations appellation chosen from the two teaching materials to design teaching cases, which provide a reference for teaching appellation language in international education of Chinese. Finally, the author puts forward to some existing problems for teaching appellation language in international education of Chinese. Providing some thoughts and suggestions from several aspects Improving teachers teaching level, strengthening students oral communication training, editing teaching material systematically and learning combining with cultural factors. Emphasizing the importance of teaching appellation language.In conclusion, through statistic analysis for appellation in elementary and intermediate spoken teaching materials, the author designs relevant teaching cases, aiming at making a modest means at teaching appellation language in international education of Chinese.
