Sense of rhythm was the most important factor that has been repeatedly emphasised to exercise, according to Carl Orff, an educator in German. In modern musical performance, piano has been widely recognised and appreciated in two roles with excellently playing, not only as a solo instruments but also a multifunctional accompaniment that attracted composers actively and mindfully arranging chords for piano accompaniment after inspiredly creating melody, which attracted great attention and interest on technical analysis of numerous musical works and historical research on development and innovation in music history, however, there were considerable issues with academic significance, yet, to be explored in deep. Piano accompaniment as a teaching method and its effects was one of those issues.Piano accompaniment took much more extensive and far-reaching effect of teaching then well known inner musical characteristics on people as the most common and widely used musical instruments that appeared in music classrooms of most colleges and universities, professional schools, conservatories and even primary and secondary schools in a worldwide range. In this paper, it was mainly studied and discussed on the significance of piano accompaniment in rhythm approach of solfeggio training at colleges, universities and conservatories in order to set a demonstration that might initiate and contribute further studies on this topic in a more comprehensive sense. Because of rhythm approach which was especially concentrated in solfeggio that was the fundamentality and essentiality with an independent means of musical expression that coordinate with piano accompaniment, it created a possibility that might offered additions of applicability and value in systematic teaching. Hence, a crossover study that based on the dialectical relationship of piano accompaniment and rhythm approach of solfeggio to discover further thoughts on favourable benefits of solfeggio training from piano accompaniment was made as a exemplification of significance by following the teaching path of rhythm approach of solfeggio in colleges, universities and conservatories by using piano accompaniment as means to lead teachers and students in professional music institutions and music education major of universities and enthusiasts to think the teaching significance of piano accompaniment, attach its importance and give more comprehensive studies in deep.In this paper, the significance of piano accompaniment was discussed in background of musical education according to solfeggio training by analysis its role of teaching and effects including the promoted ability of students and teachers that summed commonalities to standardise and regularise music teaching since piano accompaniment and solfeggio both are two foundation course in filed of music education. Due to the lack of awareness to recognise the importance and induction of the piano accompaniment in teaching, now days, there were many problems such as lack of talent and quality issues which caused by disjoint training of piano accompaniment in colleges and universities.
