The battle of Yingzhou is a large-scale conflict between Ming army and Mongolian army at near Yingzhou in Datong town in twelfth year of Cheng-de period.This battle is the last time of Ming Dynasty’s emperor to fight against with the Mongolian army,The fact that Ming Wuzong visited the battlefield makes this conflict have special meaning.Moreover, Because this battle took place in the background that there is an antagonism between the member of Leopard-Room and civil officials.According to studying of this battle, we can know the political situation in the Cheng-de period to Jiajing period.This thesis is based on a substantial investigation of the battle and try to recover of it.Besides the study will be put in the political background of Cheng-de and Jiajing period to analyze.This battle is a military success which has prevented Mongolian army’s invasion.Through this event,we also can find out the emperor’s military talent and the key role he has played.The changes in political situation from Cheng-de period to Jiajing period Led to conflicting evaluations about the battle. I will have a complete investigation of the political and analyze the previous conflicting evaluation of the battle,And try to give a objective evaluation on it.
