This thesis is aimed to analyze three different specific expressions about "Farewell" language function item from different aspects, including the grammatical aspect, the semantic aspect and the application aspect. It is clear that the application aspect is the most important element in probing the teaching usage of "Farewell" language item. This article can mainly be broken down into six pieces. The first part is the introduction, in which the related research achievements about the language functions and teaching Chinese as a second language have been included, by putting forward the foundations of theoretical researches and the study purposes. From the second part to the forth part, the basic three different forms of "Farewell" language function will be carefully analyzed by setting colorful scenes, varying from the aspect of grammar to the aspect of application. By introducing the culture element, a series of context about different categories will be explored to give some suggestions on the teaching of "Farewell" language function. The fifth part is the horizontal comparisons of the differences on several kinds of expressions, which mainly include the suitable objects, the usage occasion, the frequency of utilization and the expressing emotions, in order to use them in proper situation as well as the suitable occasion. And the final part is the conclusion, making a summary of the whole points and putting forward the relevant outlooks.
