In this paper, these sentences are called forward progressive complex sentence which stands the meaning of the after clause is further than the before clause. Now the academia research on forward progressive complex sentence focuses on the part of Chinese Ontology, based on the characteristics of this kind of sentence. There are few studies come from the field of instructing Chinese as a foreign language, however, they are just examples of classes. According to that, the paper is meant to analyze the specific sentences and correlative word of forward progressive complex sentence combined with the errors, which are produced when the international students study and use Chinese, in order to give some suggestions to the teaching.There are five parts in this paper.The first part is usually a introduction. It explains the reason, meaning and purpose about selection; writes Research Summary, which includes the studies of both Chinese ontology and instructing Chinese as a foreign language.The second part, it compares the characteristics and apply of the different syntactical structure and correlative word of forward progressive complex sentence. Aside from the typical sentences guided by "Budan", "Ji......Hai......", "Ji......Erqie......" are also brought into the range of forward progressive complex sentence. It analyzes the correlative words’ co-occurrence rule, logical relation and syntactic features. Especially aiming at the phenomenon that foreign students use correlative words confusedly, it makes a contrast between "Budan A,Erqie B","Budan A, Hai B" and "Budan A,Ye B". On the basis of using sentences guided by "Ji", this paper will discuss the existing facts of "Ji A, Erqie B","Ji A, Hai B",prove their rationality and illustrate their semantic points.The third part expounds the types of errors caused by foreign students learning Chinese. There are mainly four kinds:incomplete, redundancy, mixed collocation and wrong position. The reasons of personality mistakes lie in the way to balance mother tongue and target language. The sakes of common errors lie in the trouble of teachers or teaching materials.The fourth part, by considering three current Chinese teaching materials, it gives scientific advices about teaching forward progressive complex sentence. The relevant content of courses and class teaching need to be divided into primary, intermediate and advanced.The last part is a summary, to sum up the conclusions of the above parts, and point out the deficiencies in the research. Hope the future.
