Domestic and foreign tourism research shows that in today’s fierce competition in the tourism market, good tourism destination image is one of the important factors to attract tourists choose, when tourists choose t destination, the image of destination plays a vital role, also in a certain extent influence tourists’ tourism decisions.Folk song is an important cultural tourism resources, and also a kind of unique tourism image media, provide a strong opportunity for the tourism image building and communication.The current research on folk songs and the tourism image is relatively little, so the role of folk songs research on tourism image, not only perfect the theory, but also has practical significance.This paper use folk songs in Guangxi as an example to explain the effect that folk songs shaped tourism destination image, mainly adopts literature analysis method, questionnaire survey method, the main part is divided into six parts:the first part is to issue question; the second part is the literature review and collection of tourism image and music and tourism image, and mainly introduces the theory of tourism image formation mechanism and the theory of CIS; the third part describes the resources of Guangxi folk songs, as well as the funcation of Guangxi folk songs in tourism; the fourth part mainly discusses the comparative analysis of the role of folk songs in shaping the image and the composite image, and the correlation analysis of the influence of Guangxi folk songs on the tourism image building;the fifth part are recommendations for Guangxi tourism image building based on the factors of CIS method.The sixth part is the conclusion and Prospect of the paper.The results showed that the tourists have a certain understanding of Guangxi folk songs and its tourism image;the perception of Guangxi folk song in the field sample of the composite image stage is higher than that of the potential sample of plastic guide image to the perception of Guangxi folk songs.; at the same time, field samples and potential samples have some significant differences between Guangxi folk songs and the familiarity of folk songs,field samples to the understanding of Guangxi is significantly higher than that of potential tourists to Guangxi folk song familiarity (p<0.001); Field samples of Guangxi folk song towards familiar, contact degree, degree of goodwill has positive correlation,he contact degree and familiar degree is moderately correlated,the degree of familiarity and the degree of high praise are moderate degree of correlation, contact degree and high degree of praise are highly related, statistical significance achieve at 0.001 level. In order to explain the folk songs in Guangxi indeed to the tourism image of Guangxi, place Guangxi folk songs in Guangxi’s tourism environment, so that visitors have a strong resonance of Guangxi tourism image.
