In recent years, the European Union implements a lot of programmes in the field of education to promote the development of European society. "Erasmus+Programme" is an international programme of them which provides opportunities for students, teachers, etc. from various countries including developing countries and regions to study, work or practice abroad. However, there are few translations about "Erasmus+Programme" at present, and many education personnel and students in China’s higher education institutions miss the opportunities for further study due to lacking of the knowledge about this Programme. In order to let more Chinese people know about "Erasmus+Programme" and participate in it, the author of the report selects to translate Erasmus+Programme Guide, which offers information about the objectives, programme countries, implementing structures and overall budget, etc. of "Erasmus+Programme" and gives information on procedures for grant application and selection of projects. The main contents of Erasmus+ Programme Guide are programmes, projects, actions and bodies and objectives and aims. The report of translation practice is based on the E-C translation of the first chapter and second chapter of Erasmus+Programme Guide. It discusses the translation methods of programmes, projects, actions, bodies, objectives and aims in Erasmus+Programme Guide under the guidance of communicative translation theory and semantic translation theory. Through case analysis, this report draws a conclusion:progrmmes, projects, actions and bodies are mainly translated under the guidance of semantic translation theory, with adoption of commonly recognized translation, literal translation, transliteration and transliteration plus annotation; objectives and aims are mainly translated under the guidance of communicative translation theory, with the methods such as lexical conversion, syntactic regroup, and following the original syntactic order.
