| This report is based on translating Compilation of Procedure Documents of one foreign-owned enterprise. The author translates more than 50,000 words during internship in this company in Shanghai, and she finally chooses this Compilation of Procedure Documents for her translation report.The Procedure Documents are essential documents for certification of ISO9001 quality management system. Procedures are specified rules for completing an activity. Procedure Documents are documents which describe procedures. Procedure Documents of quality system are supporting documents of quality manual which regulates activities that will affect quality.This report focuses on explaining all the author’s translation procedures guided by Nida’s theory of functional equivalence, including preparation before translation, problems and difficulties in translation, and how she uses this theory to solve the problems.
