There are five chapters in this report. The forth chapter introduces the case analysis and Functional Equivalence Theory. In the first part, it mainly talks about the theory’s introduction and the guidance to the translator. In the second part, there are two points, one is the case analysis, including appearance description, action description, the description of the forest and the fighting process, the other talks about the difficulties during translating and solution to these problems, including the strange vocabularies, the understanding of this novel and the language expression. The last chapter is the summary, which shares the feelings, experiences and edification for our future job of this translation practice.
