A Study On The Development Of Ethnic Cultural Industry In Linxia

Starting from the perspective of ethnology and focusing on the protection and inheritance of the ethnic culture resources, this paper examines and sorts out the ethnic culture resources and its characteristics in an omni-directional and multi-angular manner, and proposes the idea that Linxia possesses a superiority for the ethnic culture industry with its rich and diverse minority culture.This paper then makes a research and analysis on the development status, rules and prospects of the ethnic culture industry in Linxia by using the questionnaire survey, documents, interview and other research methods.The survey finds that in addition to the overall low economic social development level,unclear industry positioning, insufficient scientific planning and inadequate publicity and promotion, the lack of culture consciousness of the minority people that are the main body of the ethnic culture is the crux for the slow development of culture industry in Linxia against its rich cultural resources. In search of the development path of the ethnic culture industry in Linxia, this paper puts forward that it shall pay equal attention to the cultural and economic values, deeply explore the ethnic cultural connotation, and ensure the protection and inheritance of ethnic culture with traditional features based on the display and experience of original ethnic culture.By comparing and exploring the domestic ethnic culture industry development models, this paper considers that Linxia should develop the resource-oriented culture industry, and puts forward the concrete countermeasures and paths for the development of culture industry, trying to develop the ethnic culture industry in Linxia into a pillar industry that supports and promotes the local economic development through the efficient utilization of ethnic culture resources.
